Jimmy Butler is all set to finally make his debut for the Miami Heat on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks. Butler has missed Miami's first three games of the new season due to the birth of his daughter, and the Heat have confirmed that he's expected to take the floor on Tuesday.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra explained how he plans on utilizing his new star:

“He's our guy,” Spoelstra said, via the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “He'll be playing. I'm not planning on resting him.”

This is great news for the Heat, who just suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-109. This defeat, however, was preceded by two impressive victories, including a 131-126 win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

Spoelstra continued to talk up Miami's new face of the franchise, saying that Butler's attitude is exactly what the team needs:

“We like these competitive, edgy kind of guys,” Spoelstra said. “For better or worse, that's us. We are who we are, we like who we like, and Jimmy fits into our model.”

Heat forward Justise Winslow echoed this excitement, though he knows there will be a learning curve:

“We're excited, for sure,” Winslow said. “He had the baby and was taking care of all that. I guess there's some upside. We got to grow. But truthfully, I'm so excited to play with him.

“We haven't really played with him a real game. So that's going to be a learning curve, as well, figuring out each other's tendencies and stuff.”

Jimmy Butler is currently on a four-year, $141 million deal with the Heat after coming over from the Philadelphia 76ers.
