Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry is returning to Scotiabank Arena and playing against the Toronto Raptors for the first time since his offseason departure, and for him, the timing couldn't get any more perfect.

Speaking to reporters before the Sunday showdown, the Raptors legend shared how much he misses everything about the city, the country and the organization. He also expressed his excitement about facing off against his former team, saying that it came at the best of time since they are both playing for something important, per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Kyle Lowry and the Heat are already secured of a playoff spot as they head to the game with the best record in the East at 50-28. They have won three straight and now appear to have figured things out after a poor four-game skid in late March raised some concerns about their play.

Despite that record, though, they need every win they can get to protect their position at the top and enter the postseason with homecourt advantage up until the conference finals at least.

Of course, the Raptors have more important things to do since they are not yet secured of an automatic playoff spot. However, at no. 5 with a 45-32 record, a win against the Heat could help them snatch a playoff berth.

Lowry missed their two meetings with the Raptors in January due to personal reasons, but now that he's back, he'll certainly be hoping to exploit his familiarity with the team when they play.
