The Miami Heat spanked the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night by a score of 120-85, taking a 3-2 series lead heading on the road for Game 6 on Thursday. They managed to do all the damage without Kyle Lowry, who continues to battle a sore hamstring.

On a positive note, the Heat guard will travel with the team for the possible series-clincher, but more as a vocal figure on the bench. He won't be available to suit up once again:

To be honest, the Heat have played well in these playoffs sans Lowry, going 5-0. Gabe Vincent slotted into his starting spot in Game 5 and showed out for 15 points, while Victor Oladipo also made his presence felt off the bench. Plus, Lowry posted a goose egg in Game 4 and hasn't exactly been scoring at a high level.

There is no doubt the veteran is a key part of this Heat squad. His playmaking abilities and championship experience are surely important. But, for now, Miami seems just fine without him. They're only one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals and at this point, it might be best to let Lowry rest up his hamstring and be ready to go for the next round. Vincent, Oladipo, and Herro, among others, are giving Erik Spoelstra more than enough production at the moment. If the Heat can shoot the ball like Game 5, the series will surely be all over by the end of Thursday as well.
