Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson believes Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo's game-saving block on Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals is the best defensive play he's ever seen in the playoffs.

This is quite the statement from Magic Johnson, who won five championships with the Lakers during his Hall of Fame career.

Bam Adebayo made the first team All-Defensive squad this season, and his block on Jayson Tatum is a prime example of why he's one of the best two-way players in the NBA.

Along with his monster block on Tatum, Adebayo scored 18 points in Game 1 for the Heat. He also grabbed six rebounds and nine assists in 43 minutes of action.

Adebayo and the Heat will look to take a 2-0 series lead over the Celtics in Game 2, which is on Thursday (9/17).
