The Miami Heat shocked the basketball world yet again on Friday as they secured another huge win over the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of their second-round series. Heat swingman Jae Crowder was one of Miami's best players on the evening, and Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra was all praises for the 30-year-old after the game.

Crowder took a game-high 11 attempts from deep in this one, making five of them for 17 points on the evening. For Spoelstra, he wants Crowder to take even more attempts from distance moving forward:

“He’s a competitive guy that fits out culture, our way of being, and he competes on both ends,” Spoelstra said, via the Miami Herald. “He’s detail-oriented and he’s been kind of a pleasant surprise as a leader in our locker room. And offensively, we need him to be aggressive, particularly behind the three-point line. I love that he had 12 three-point attempts [in Game 2]. Hopefully we can even generate some more for him. He’s a great shooter.”

Needless to say, Jae Crowder has been granted the green light to shoot from anywhere from the floor. He's pretty much achieved “Splash Brother” status, with his coach encouraging him to shoot at each and every opportunity.

Crowder has been excellent for the Heat in this series, averaging 14.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 35 minutes of action. The 6-foot-6 forward is also draining 4.0 triples per contest on a 40.0-percent clip. Safe to say, Crowder has found his stride against the Bucks, and coach Spoelstra is more than willing to ride the hot hand.
