Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro may have become the best reserve player in the NBA, but he is not stopping there. After winning Sixth Man of the Year, he is setting his sights to bigger goals for next year.

Make no mistake, Herro is hungry to win the NBA Championship. However, beyond that as he set his individual goals for 2022-23, he has one thing in mind: become an All-Star. Of course that is not an impossible goal given his numbers and performance for the Heat in 2021-22.

“I wanna be an All Star next year,” Herro proclaimed, per Brady Hawk of 5 Reason Sports.

Tyler Herro also opened up about his Sixth Man of the Year honor and how he has thrived in the role. There is no doubt that he is starter material, but given the Heat's depth, he has been given a bench role. Nonetheless, that's not a big issue for him at all.

“It means a lot. I accepted the sixth-man role for a reason. I wanted to be the best Sixth Man in the league,” the sharpshooter shared, per Tim Reynolds of Associated Press.

Now that he's the top Sixth Man in the NBA, though, he can now certainly focus on the bigger things he wants to achieve in the NBA.

Sure enough, the Heat are hoping that his latest accolade will only motivate Herro further to keep aspiring for that next level in his game.
