Tyler Herro has been in and out of the Miami Heat roster this season due to minor injuries and health protocols. Luckily for him, the team has been able to hold the fort even with the slew of setbacks the entire campaign, a testament yet again to the understated genius of coach Erik Spoelstra.

On Monday night, the Heat scored an impressive victory over the Chicago Bulls, 112-99 to notch their ninth win in 10 games. It was another balanced attack from the crew from South Beach, with five players scoring at least 13 points. Herro and Gabe Vincent top-scored for the Heat with 20 points each.

After the game, as reported by ESPN, the 22-year-old Herro was feeling extra confident about his team, dropping a line that would make Jimmy Butler proud.

“Whatever people want to say about us is cool.”

Since entering the NBA as a teenager out of Kentucky, Herro has never lacked confidence, to the point that others see it as cockiness. But Butler has taken the prolific guard under his wings, which only probably adds to Herro's swag.

These days, people definitely only have good things to say about the Heat, who have weathered long periods without Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry. Spoelstra has kept the squad afloat, utilizing his unheralded players and finding a key role for Herro, who's averaging a career-high 20.2 points off the bench.

The Milwaukee Bucks will try to cool off the Heat on Wednesday.
