Jimmy Butler is questionable to play on Monday against the Boston Celtics, but according to the latest reports, the Miami Heat superstar doesn't intend to sit out the crucial clash.

Butler is dealing with a knee injury, which the team described as a knee inflammation. The said issue forced him to sit out the whole second half of Saturday's showdown with the Celtics, all while raising concerns about his status for Game 4.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, though, sources have said that Butler plans to suit up in the contest.

Jimmy Butler has always been a warrior, and he's never one to sit out a game due to a minor issue. That' just how he's built. With that said, it really won't be surprising if he plays in Game 4 against the Celtics.

Of course head coach Erik Spoelstra will be wary of his injury and will be keeping an eye on his minutes and condition throughout the contest if he does end up playing. After all, the last thing they want is for their superstar to aggravate and worsen the issue that would keep him out far longer.

Nonetheless, the fact that Butler plans to play is good news for the Heat. With five other players–including Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry–questionable, they need all the help they can get to stay ahead of Boston in the series.
