Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat unleashed his inner LeBron James on Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors, pinning the ball to the glass after a chasedown block of Raptors guard Fred VanVleet.

The third-year center is enjoying his best season as a pro this year for the Heat. Bam Adebayo entered Thursday's game averaging 15.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists, and he ranks in the top 10 in the NBA in terms of both defensive win shares and value over replacement player (VORP).

Adebayo's development in the frontcourt is a major reason for Miami's success. The Heat (24-9) dropped their last game against the Washington Wizards, but they are still third in the Eastern Conference thanks in part to progression from the likes of Adebayo, Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson.

The 22-year-old has showcased some of his versatility over the course of the last two years, but he finally seems to be realizing his full potential as an All-Star caliber center for the Heat.
