Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard has a rather peculiar way of preparing for the NBA restart.

Leonard took to Twitter on Sunday, posting a video of a pseudo reconnaissance mission in which he and his dog were chasing iguanas. Leonard tagged the Call of Duty video game franchise in the process:

Apparently, stealth will be a big part of Leonard's game in Orlando.

Jokes aside, the 28-year-old has played a decent role in Miami's success this year. Leonard is averaging 6.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in just over 20 minutes per contest, but more importantly he provides the Heat with much-needed floor spacing.

Leonard was averaging nearly one 3-pointer per game, shooting close to 43 percent from beyond the arc. His ability to extend the perimeter opens up slashing lanes for the likes of Jimmy Butler, who has struggled to shoot it from deep this year.

The Heat will hope Leonard eventually trades in his pursuit of iguanas for the pursuit of a championship ring as they prepare for the restart. Miami holds a 41-24 record, which is good for fourth in the Eastern Conference.
