HyperX extends its sponsorship deal with Team Liquid and also signs Hungrybox as the newest HyperX brand ambassador.

The HP Inc. gaming peripherals brand announced its renewal of sponsorship with esports pro team Team Liquid as its Official Peripherals Partner. In line with this, HyperX also adds Juan “Hungrybox” DeBeidma as its latest HyperX Hero and global ambassador.

As part of the sponsorship, HyperX will support the team in a variety of initiatives, including Team Liquid's tournaments, charitable and community initiatives, and content programming with an expanded focus on diversity and women in gaming.

On the flip side, HyperX Hero and global ambassador Hungrybox is expected to participate in a variety of HyperX marketing activities including virtual streams, events, and original content creation.

“HyperX has not only been an incredible partner to Team Liquid over the years but they've been a driver of change within the gaming community,” says Hungrybox. “Team Liquid is a big believer in the power of diversity and understands that gaming is a unifying force. I'm looking forward to working with the HyperX team to ensure that everyone feels they have a space within our community.”

“HyperX is thrilled to renew our sponsorship with Team Liquid to support the growing esports organization and equally excited to welcome Hungrybox to the HyperX brand ambassador family,” says HyperX Director of Marketing Stephanie Winkler. “We recognize the ongoing efforts of Team Liquid to support the esports ecosystem of players, influencers, and fans and inclusivity for all, aligning with HyperX's commitment to fueling the next generation of gamers and content creators.”

The extended sponsorship will include a range of initiatives including support for Team Liquid's Women VALORANT team competing at VCT Game Changers, as well as support in Team Liquid's content creation initiatives, including Team Liquid's new podcast “Table Talks.”
