The Jacksonville Jaguars have already clinched a playoff spot heading into the final two weeks of the season.

However, the team could be getting another offensive weapon back in the mix in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers with veteran wide receiver Allen Hurns back for from a nagging ankle injury.

Hurns has missed the last five games with the injury but was able to participate in every practice this week on a limited basis. The fact that he was able to be declared with a questionable designation heading into Sunday's game gives some glimmer of hope that he can play.

In nine games played this season, Hurns has 36 catches for 446 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. During his absence, the Jaguars have relied upon a pair of rookies in Keelan Cole and Dede Westbrook along with Marqise Lee. It has has been more than enough to get the job done this season offensively with rookie Leonard Fournette leading the way with the running game.

If Hurns can return this week, it would provide quarterback Blake Bortles with another weapon in the passing game. If not, the Jaguars can allow for Hurns to use this week or next week to let his ankle heal more heading in order to have him in the fold for the playoffs.
