The Jacksonville Jaguars have two first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. While the first of those picks comes at number nine, the second one comes in at number 20.

That second pick comes from the Los Angeles Rams, via the trade that sent them superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

It's also the pick we are going to talk about here.

Who exactly will the Jaguars be taking with that pick? We can't be 100% certain, but let's try and figure it out and predict who Jacksonville will select with the 20th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

As shown by the 2019 record of 6-10, Jacksonville has some work to do. The Jaguars have weaknesses in a number of areas. Therefore, they could be looking into a lot of different positions and players in this draft.

Of course, that makes it a lot harder to try and narrow down who will be the selection for Jacksonville at 20.

One obvious factor will be the person Jacksonville takes at nine.

However, there's one position (or group) that would make the most sense. That would be the offensive line.

The Jaguars have needs on defense, in the secondary specifically, and at wide receiver and tight end (among other spots offensively).

It's the offensive line that they should be most concerned with though. Jacksonville seems to believe Gardner Minshew is their long term answer at quarterback. Or, at least they want to give him a chance to be the answer.

If he's going to be the answer though, they need to keep him healthy. And that means keeping Minshew upright and protected.

Jacksonville wasn't very good at that last year. They allowed 42 sacks, which was 17th in the NFL.

So technically, they really weren't terrible. But there's obvious room for improvement. They were still in the bottom half of the league.

So who should the Jaguars take at number 20? It's pretty simple if he's still available (which is always a question in the draft to be fair). Josh Jones.

Jones is an offensive tackle out of Houston. Listed at 6'7″, 310 lbs, Jones is an absolute unit. Size is far from the only thing he has though.

The offensive tackle is incredibly talented. And he proved that he can hold his own against all competition in 2019.

Most importantly though, Jones can come in and immediately start. Yes, he still has room to grow, which means he could turn into an absolute monster of an offensive tackle. But he can also be plugged in immediately and do a good enough job to give the Jaguars an immediate boost on the offensive line.

That will go a long way in helping Minshew realize his potential. And even if he turns out not to be the answer at quarterback, it never hurts to have a bookend franchise tackle.
