Jayson Tatum just gave Boston Celtics fans a glimpse of what he's capable of on Monday night.

Making his debut for his team in Summer League, the third overall pick received the ball with less than 14 seconds left on the clock and the C's down by a single point. He asked for a clear out before making a move near the arc, creating space to knock down a jumper to give Boston the lead for good, 89-88. The Philadelphia 76ers failed to score on the ensuing play, as Tatum and company held on for the victory.

In what was the first meeting between Tatum and top overall pick Markelle Fultz as pros, the 6-foot-8 Duke product had the superior production on the night, finishing with 21 points, seven rebounds, five steals, and three assists. Fultz finessed with 17 points and three blocks.

Some fans were torn with their feelings after Tatum was selected third overall, but if his first game wearing the Celtics' colors is any indication of what he could bring to the table, the Bean Town faithful might soon feel more than happy that they have him in the fold.

On Monday night, Tatum showed that he is not afraid of big game situations, hitting the game-winner with ease. Boston is just hopeful he can play the same way once next season starts, with much more at stake.
