The Utah Jazz are now at the center of the NBA microscope as Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. They are taking steps in order to prevent the disease from spreading by having the entire team tested.

ClutchPoints reported an update on the team's next steps after the Stifle Tower became the first NBA player to become infected with the widespread disease. They will be doing extended tests to make sure that the rest of the team won't be able to spread the disease any further to their loved ones.

Gobert was the first player to be diagnosed with the disease after only a couple of days of testing. League officials were quick enough to suspend games indefinitely after finding out about the Jazz center's diagnosis, but there's more to his medical situation that should cause justifiable concern among everyone in the league.

After finishing his media availability on Monday, he touched all of the microphones on the table. It's unknown how many of those were infected and how many people came into contact with these mics. The fact that Mudiay is already affected is a sign that other players on the team are also equally at risk as the media men at the press room.

The 27-year-old Gobert has been a solid asset for the Jazz this season. He's averaging 15.1 points, 13.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2.0 blocks a game. Hopefully, he will be able to recover from the disease and return to full health sooner rather than later.

Fans hope that the rest of the Jazz weren't affected by the coronavirus. If they are, it will put them in a very complicated situation.
