If you're Jordan Clarkson, now is a good time to keep pulling the trigger on offense. That's exactly what the Utah Jazz guard did Monday night when he went full JR Smith and took a total of 33 shots and finished with a season-high 41 points, albeit in a 119-116 loss to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on the road.

Taking over 30 shots isn't unheard of, but what makes Clarkson's shot attempts total interesting was the fact that he took all of those coming off the bench. As pointed out by Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press, that's the second-most field-goal attempts launched by a reserve in nearly half a century.

The Jazz are still missing both Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley Jr. and there's a chance they won't be returning until the playoffs. That seems like music to the ears of Clarkson, who's already benefiting from all the extra shots he's taking due to the absence of Utah's starting backcourt.

On the season, Clarkson is second on the team, behind Mitchell, with 15.7 field goal attempts per game. But over the last 10 games, he has seen nothing but green light on offense, averaging 19.0 shots from the floor per contest while putting up 20.7 points on 40.0 percent shooting percentage.

Don't expect Clarkson to slow down any time soon. After facing off with Stephen Curry, Clarkson can look forward to his matchups against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers in a home game this coming Wednesday.
