Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert made sure to call out his team after losing two close games to Western Conference opponents. Gobert has been heavily underused this season, receiving fewer touches after the additions of Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic, which has drastically changed the shot distribution for this team.

Following a 105-94 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the biggest differential of their season, Gobert ensured to bring up his lack of shot opportunities.

“When you have a guy that's 7-2, who can catch the ball and finish under the rim, you have to use it,” said Gobert, according to Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints. “We haven't done it the last two games and we're not doing it right now, so I'm hoping we can work on it.”

Gobert attempted only eight shots against the Clippers, tied for the highest amount this season. While he is averaging 10.9 points in the young 2019-20 campaign, he's only averaging six shot attempts per game, drastically underutilizing his size and strength, and his ability to finish at the rim.

The Jazz are making a concerted effort to get Conley and Bogdanovic involved in the offense, a move that pushed jack-of-all-trades Joe Ingles into a bench role.

Conley has struggled out of the gate, while Bogdanovic has quickly become a potent option in their lineup, giving the Jazz another 20-point scorer to pair next to star Donovan Mitchell.

Utah is starting to see the constant friction for loaded teams, something they haven't had since the John Stockton-Karl Malone era. These are however good problems to have for a team that is bound to contend for a top seed in the West.
