Utah Jazz small forward Thabo Sefolosha says he stands with Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook got into a heated argument with a fan on Monday in Utah.

According to Westbrook, Thunder guard Raymond Felton and power forward Patrick Patterson, the fan allegedly told Westbrook to “get on your knees like you're used to.”

Russell Westbrook gets taunted by fans in pretty much every road arena he plays in. For the former MVP to react the way he did on Monday shows the Jazz fan likely said something which crossed the line, and there is some prior history of this happening in Utah.

The NBA will likely perform an investigation. The league office, led by Adam Silver, will probably talk with Westbrook, some of the players on the Thunder and the Jazz fan.

If the fan said what Westbrook, Felton and Patterson are claiming he said, he should be banned from attending games. Yelling at players is fine when the trash talking is basketball related, but fans can't talk about players' families or yell out racial things.

There's no place for that in a family setting. Westbrook should also have responded in a better way, but it's easy to see why he said what he said.
