Brooklyn Nets‘ point guard Jeremy Lin was forced to leave in the first half of their game against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday due to a left hamstring strain and did not return.

Jeremy Lin's status for their next game on Friday when they host the Charlotte Hornets is still unclear.

This is another huge blow to the Brooklyn faithful who are already missing the services of Greivis Vasquez and Randy Foye. Should Lin be forced to sit out games, Sean Kilpatrick and rookie Isaiah Whitehead are expected to play the minutes at the point guard position for the team.

If there's any good news on the night, it's that the Nets were able to win the game and improve their record to 2-3. Brook Lopez played a huge game, finishing with 34 points and 11 rebounds, while Kilpatrick played solid and chipped in 24 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
