New York Jets running back Isaiah Crowell is expected to play in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Crowell was listed as questionable on the team’s official injury report due to a toe injury, but he should be good to go.

Crowell, 25, is having a fine first season for the Jets, rushing for 680 yards with six touchdowns in 12 games. He’s started the last five games following Bilal Powell’s season-ending injury.

He’s coming off a strong outing in last week’s defeat against the Tennessee Titans. He got a season-high 21 carries and rushed for 98 yards.

Crowell’s presence in the backfield should be a nice boost for the Jets, who are shorthanded at running back. Elijah McGuire and Trent Cannon would’ve had to start had Crowell missed out.

Crowell will also look to make up for his disappointing showing against the Bills in Week 10. He was limited to just 19 yards on seven carries as the Bills went on to win, 41-10.

The Jets would like to get their running game going this time around in order to help ease the pressure off of rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, who is set to return after missing the last three games due to a foot injury.

The Jets are on a six-game losing streak and this game against the Bills will likely be their best chance to snap that skid before the end of the season. Their last three games are against the Texans, Packers, and Patriots.
