Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield is very confident the team will make the playoffs this season, so much so he's willing to bet his house on it.

The Kings haven't made the playoff since 2006. Sacramento is currently 30-27 on the season, good for ninth place in the Western Conference standings and just a game behind the LA Clippers.. This is the first season in a long time the Kings have something to play for during the second half of the season, and Hield isn't backing down from the challenge:

Buddy Hield is making $3,833,760 this season, so it's safe to say he has a pretty nice house in Sacramento. Let's hope for his sake the Kings make the postseason so some crazy fan doesn't try to seize Hield's home.

In 57 games this season, Hield is averaging 20.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest. The sharpshooter is shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 44.9 percent from beyond the arc and 86.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Sacramento acquired two versatile scorers at the trade deadline in Harrison Barnes and Alec Burks. The Kings, led by second-year point guard De'Aaron Fox and Hield, have the pieces on offense to make a playoff run in the rugged Western Conference. Now, it's just about executing on a nightly basis in order to bring playoff basketball back to Sacramento.
