Name it, New York Knicks center Enes Kanter surely has something to say about it, especially if it has anything to do with his image.

Kanter was obviously not pleased with the rating he got from NBA 2K19, as he only received a 79 grade. In his eyes, he’s a way better player than what his rating suggests. As a form of protest, Kanter implied that EA’s version of the NBA video game is more advanced than 2K Sports’ product.

Kanter is barely the only player who’s ever felt disrespected by NBA 2K19’s ratings, but at least he can claim that he’s second on the team behind only Kristaps Porzingis who has a grade of 88.

Kanter was among the few bright spots on the Knicks team that finished with a poor 29-53 record last season. In 71 games, he averaged 14.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists, while also shooting 59.2 percent from the field. He also led the team in win shares with 7.6, though, his usage rate benefited greatly from the absence of Porzingis, who wasn’t able to finish the season because of a knee injury.

That NBA 2K19 rating isn’t the only thing that should keep Enes Kanter motivated to play all out next season. He’s also about to enter the last year of the four-year deal he signed in 2015 with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
