During preseason action on Monday night between the New York Knicks and Houston Rockets, things got a bit testy on the court.

All of this was centered on the minor confrontation between Knicks guard Jarrett Jack after Rockets guard James Harden blocked Jack's practice shot after the whistle blew.

Although the two were jabbering back and forth during the situation, it was nothing more than a bit of little ruffled up feathers. Jack simply didn't like the fact that Harden had attempted block his shot while pushing him away in the process. Then it became a moment centered around either player neglecting to back down from the other.

There shouldn't be any bad blood spewing between the two veteran guards, but if there is another similar situation or physical moment that arises in the future it is something that will be kept into account by the officials. At that point, it could spill over into something larger than this down the line.

The chippiness has become part of professional sports that can create minor moments like this on the court. For what it's worth, the Knicks and Rockets will see their first regular season action against each other Nov. 1 at Madison Square Garden.
