In much less than 280 characters, Kristaps Porzingis received a ringing endorsement for his inclusion in the All-Star Game come February. But it didn't come from any of New York Knicks coaches or teammates. It didn't come from Spike Lee. It didn't come from Jay-Z or Beyonce.

And no, it didn't come from anyone else associated with the NBA in any capacity.

It came from Instagram model Jen Selter, who has 1.15 million followers, which is almost 800,000 more than Porzingis himself. Unbelievable.

According to her Twitter account, Selter lives in New York and she's been a name some Knicks fans have heard over the last couple of weeks after their star in Porzingis ‘slid into her DM's.' With such prestigious job titles as “fitness lover” and “lifestyle influencer,” she has to have income in some way, shape or form.

This is not the first time Selter has tried to get the attention of Porzingis. One post on her Instagram page had a unicorn emoji on it. Porzingis' nickname is The Unicorn. He liked and followed Selter on Instagram and it's safe to assume one thing led to another.

The funny thing is that Porzingis likely doesn't need votes from Selter to get him into the All-Star game. He'll likely get in because he's the best player on a New York team and is absolutely beloved by the fanbase.
