Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis did not start in the second half of their Game 4 showdown with the Phoenix Suns, and he was eventually ruled out of the game with what the team said as a groin strain.

Looking at Davis' reaction after the second half and how he gingerly walked in the tunnel heading to the locker room, though, it was quite clear something was wrong.

Aside from the frustrated look, the pain in the face of the Lakers big man was certainly a worrying sight.

More details about the severity of the injury should come after the game and in the next few days when the Lakers re-evaluate him. Nonetheless, depending on the extent of it, Anthony Davis could be out for a significant time or even in the whole series against the Suns.

For what it's worth, the injury is a new one for AD. He was tagged as questionable heading to Game 4 because of a left knee sprain, though he was obviously not at full strength when he suit up. In 19 minutes of play on Sunday, he scored just six points on top of four rebounds and three assists.

Hopefully the injury is not that serious and he'll be able to return sooner rather than later. After all, the Lakers and the whole fan base really want to see AD thrive in LA and show the world he can battle through injuries.
