During his media session with reporters on Thursday, Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis talked about the challenge of guarding Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic.

While Davis is one of the best defenders in the NBA, he's going to have his hands full with Jokic, who is arguably the most skilled center in the league due to his elite passing skills and shooting touch.

“He’s a tough guy to guard,” Anthony Davis said about Nikola Jokic, via Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.

“(He's) able to shoot the ball, he can pass extremely well. He can go in the post. There are a lot of ways he can beat you.”

Jokic simply torched the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the playoffs. The good news for the Lakers is that they have three guys with size and strength who can give the Joker problems in Davis, Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee.

In his first playoff run with the Lakers, Davis has been a monster on both sides of the floor. He's averaging 27.6 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.5 blocks while shooting 58.6 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from beyond the arc and 75.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Meanwhile, for the Nuggets, Jokic is putting up 25.4 points, 10.8 boards and 6.0 assists.

It should be a lot of fun to watch Jokic and Davis go at one another in a seven-game series to decide who will represent the Western Conference in the 2020 NBA Finals.
