Corey Brewer reached a milestone on Sunday night during the Los Angeles Lakers' game versus the visiting Houston Rockets. After checking in to start the second quarter, the veteran swingman extended his current streak of consecutive games played to 300.

Brewer currently holds the longest active streak in the entire NBA, and is showing that he is an Iron Man with his feat, especially since it started back in 2014.

Despite not seeing a lot of playing time this season so far, Corey Brewer continues to be part of head coach Luke Walton’s rotation. He is also relied upon to bring a lot of veteran experience and serve as the Lakers’ locker room leader.

Drafted back in 2007 with the seventh overall pick, Brewer started his professional career by playing at least 79 games in two of his first three seasons. However, his current streak has been made possible by the way he takes care of his body, and the amount of work he puts in every offseason to improve his conditioning further.

It will be very interesting to find out how long he can continue this impressive streak, as every game he adds to it makes it more difficult for others to reach or even surpass it.
