The Los Angeles Lakers have not played the type of basketball that everybody expected them to this season, and there are a lot of doubts about this team for the rest of the season.

The Lakers are probably one of the worst teams in basketball, despite the fact that everyone anticipated them to win an NBA championship. Although injuries aren't the primary cause of the Lakers' struggles this season, losing a few key players, like Anthony Davis, hasn't helped the team in any way.

Dave McMenamin, NBA reporter for ESPN, reported that Frank Vogel, Lakers head coach, had this to say,

Frank Vogel on this final stretch of the season and how things could end up for the Lakers: “If [Anthony Davis] is able to come back and we catch the right matchup or catch a team at the right time and if we’re able to catch fire at the right time, we’re going to have a chance”

It's difficult to agree or disagree with Frank Vogel on the Lakers. Obviously, if the Lakers are fully healthy and their role players and Russell Westbrook start producing and playing better, you can guarantee LeBron James will do everything he can to carry this team in the playoffs. If Anthony Davis is healthy by the end of the season and is able to stay on the floor, they might be a team that does pose a challenge to other Western Conference teams.
