The Los Angeles Lakers were dealt a bad beat against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis out with injuries.

But it looks like the purple and gold are getting some good news for their next tilt against the Atlanta Hawks. According to ESPN insider Dave McMenamin, Anthony Davis is set to rejoin the Lakers lineup after his one-game absence.

Anthony Davis has been upgraded to probable for today’s game against the Hawks, per the Lakers.

Davis missed the Lakers' last game due to right wrist soreness but looks to have trended in the right direction to get a probable tag.

LeBron James, meanwhile, has seemingly trended in the opposite direction. After being listed as questionable against their last two opponents before being ruled out hours before tip-off, this time the Lakers ruled him as out from the get-go with his left knee issue still bothering him.

The Lakers at least getting Anthony Davis back, however, is crucial given that the Atlanta Hawks have been red-hot as of late. They currently hold the longest win streak in the Eastern Conference at six and will be tough to knock off on their home floor.
