Lonzo Ball had one of his best games as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, when they went up against the Philadelphia 76ers. Finishing with an impressive stat line of 10 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals and four blocks, he made it possible for his team to end up with the road win.

The 20-year-old rookie received a lot of praise for his superb play on the night, including from their president of basketball operations, Magic Johnson. The Lakers legend took to his Twitter account to give his take on what he thinks made it possible for Ball to play well. He mentioned playing fast as something he can do consistently, which could also bring more wins to the franchise.

Ball's performance on Thursday could mark the start of a strong run for him, as the Lakers need him at his best in all their games, especially with them only having a 9-15 record to show. With the good words Johnson gave him, coupled with the belief his teammates and their fans have on him, it could work wonders for his confidence, and finally live up to the hype even before he entered the NBA.
