Juš “Crownshot” Marušič announced earlier today that he will not be playing in the NA or EU regions of League of Legends. next year. The EU Carry is still without a team as the 2021 season approaches. He most recently played for SK Gaming before being bumped down to its academy team, SK Gaming Prime.

The preseason roster shuffle rages on but there's still no team in sight for the marksman from Slovenia. This could potentially mean the exit of such a skilled player from the LEC.

It's been a rough outing in the EU region for Crownshot in recent years. However, the AD Carry has experienced modest success before transitioning into the League of Legends European Championship. Furthermore, Crownshot was one of the most consistent members on the SK Gaming roster. Unfortunately for him and many others like him, stellar performances amount to nothing without top league placements.

SK remained a middling team for most of Crownshot's tenure with the organization. Regardless of Crownshot ranking fourth in most kills for the Carry position, they were unable to place in playoffs. EU caster Andy “Vedius” Day weighed in on the surprising news concerning the talented Carry.

It's extremely disappointing to lose talented players in the scene because teams refuse to pick them up. Despite being recognized by on-air talents and analysts, Crownshot will never be able to prove his skills again unless a team picks him up to play. There's still hope for him however in any of the European Regional Leagues. Hopefully, one team will recognize the value he brings to the Bot Lane.
