The Detroit Lions haven't had much success through the air when Kenny Golladay has been sidelined, but Sunday could be a different story. Following a stop from Detroit's defense, Matthew Stafford connected with Marvin Hall for a 55-yard touchdown to give the Lions an early lead.

Stafford hasn't played particularly well, for his standards, coming into Sunday's game. However, on Detroit's first drive of the game, Stafford took a shot down the field to Hall, who was wide open along the sideline.

Throughout his career, Stafford has never been shy about throwing the deep ball. Even though he doesn't have Golladay to target, Stafford is beginning to trust his other pass-catchers as the season progresses.

With his early touchdown against the Washington Football Team, Stafford now has 15 passing touchdowns on the season. Maybe his latest one can allow him to hit his stride as the Lions hope to finish strong in 2020.
