The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League draw finally took place on Thursday in Istanbul and we have several tantalizing matchups to look forward to this fall/winter. Here's a full look at all eight groups:

Group A starts immediately catches the eye, with Manchester City and PSG headlining. As you can see, there are numerous European giants alongside each other in various pods. With that being said, let's take a look at the best Champions League clashes that will surely be easy on the eyes.

Man City-PSG

2020-21 UCL finalists Manchester City will take on PSG across two legs in what should be a fun-filled rematch of last year's semifinals where the Citizens beat the Ligue 1 standouts 4-1 on aggregate. Paris will be seeking revenge after a disappointing showing and their revamped squad looks ready to conquer the Champions League. Mauricio Pochettino's side enjoyed a historic transfer window, headlined by the signing of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi. Aside from him, PSG also brought in the likes of Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Achraf Hakimi. Best part? Aside from Hakimi, all of these players joined the club on free transfers. Their frontline is now arguably one of the most lethal on the globe with Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe, although he wants to leave for Real Madrid.

City, on the other hand, was so close to Champions League glory in Porto but unfortunately fell to Chelsea in the grand finale. They've also strengthened their squad, especially in the final third. The Citizens paid a record-breaking fee for Jack Grealish in the summer and according to recent reports, they might even sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus as he reconsiders his future in Turin. City has still never won the Champions League despite their domination of the Premier League and will be aiming to finally lift the prestigious trophy in 2022.

The thought of Messi lining up against a world-class Man City squad is exciting in itself, but the real intrigue is if Ronaldo actually joins the PL champions. That would mean another meeting between two of the greatest footballers to ever step on the pitch. Who wouldn't want to see that?

Bayern-Barcelona

2020 Champions League winners Bayern Munich suffered a disappointing exit at the quarterfinal stage last season, losing to PSG, much in part to Robert Lewandowski missing both legs due to injury. With an even stronger team and a phenomenal tactician at the helm in Julian Nagelsmann, the Bundesliga giants will be poised to return to European prominence again. They will have fond memories of their last encounter with Barcelona, who are still adjusting to life without Messi. En route to Bayern's Champions League trophy in '20, the club embarrassed Barca, thumping them 8-2 in a single-leg quarterfinal.

Barcelona's Champions League dreams ended at the hands of PSG last term, losing 4-1 on aggregate. They've brought in some key signings this summer though, with Memphis Depay joining forces with Dutch compatriot Ronald Koeman, while Eric Garcia also left Man City for Camp Nou. It's really hard to know what to expect of them in the post-Messi era, but they've looked decent thus far in La Liga.

There's a rich history between these two clubs in the Champions League, with no shortage of goals. Bayern has won three of the last four meetings between the sides, but Barca will have revenge on their minds.

Atletico-Liverpool

Atletico Madrid will face Liverpool in the Champions League group stages once again. They knocked them out in the 2019-20 campaign with an unforgettable extra-time victory at Anfield in the second leg of the Round of 16. Atletico is coming off a La Liga title last term but they were disappointing in the knockout stages of this competition, losing to Chelsea in the semifinals. However, they've only lost once to the Reds in five meetings.

Following Liverpool's 2019 Champions League title, they've struggled in Europe's most prized competition. Real Madrid eliminated them last season in the quarterfinals but with key players back in the squad like Virgil van Dijk, Jurgen Klopp's men will be looking to make a deep run. While these two clubs will play each other in both Liverpool and Madrid, it's expected they will both come out of this group and comfortably advance to knockout rounds.

Chelsea-Juventus

The Blues headline their group alongside Juventus after lifting the Champions League trophy in Porto in May. Chelsea is being tipped as a serious contender to do so again after signing Romelu Lukaku to bolster their attack. Thomas Tuchel's side is already off to a flying start in the Premier League, winning both of their games while bagging five goals and conceding none.

Juve is looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2020/21 season as a whole, finishing in fourth spot in Serie A and bowing out in the Champions League Round of 16 to Porto. The Andrea Pirlo project failed, with Juventus now appointing Max Allegri as their new boss again after several years prior in the dugout in Turin. Ronaldo's future is looking uncertain though after he was left out of the starting XI in their season opener. If he does move on to Man City like it's being discussed, this clash will definitely lose some of its excitement.  Chelsea and Juve have met four times before in the group stages, with both teams winning once while also drawing twice.

The Champions League officially begins on September 14th.
