Mario Chalmers refutes speculations of Heat comeback

After recovering from his Achilles injury, Mario Chalmers is now very much available for teams in need of a point guard.

The two-time NBA champion recently posted a video on Instagram which shows him in workouts. Interestingly, fans could not help but notice his Miami Heat shorts, which prompted many to speculate.

But Chalmers was quick to dissipate all those talks, per Ira Winderman’s article for the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

“Don’t worry bout the heat shorts. Doesn’t mean I’m goin back there.”

The Heat isn’t a likely destination for Chalmers anyway because of the team’s boatload of point guards. But his name has been thrown around in Cleveland Cavaliers speculations, although nothing serious has been talked about.
