The Dallas Mavericks took the Western Conference defending champion Phoenix Suns out to the woodshed Sunday night in Game 7 of their conference semifinal series. The Mavs won, 123-90, even though that score isn't even indicative of how much worse it really was for Phoenix.

At halftime, the Mavs held a 30-point lead, 57-27. What's more astounding is that Luka Doncic himself had 27 points at the break. NBA stars went nuts online trolling the Suns for their performance.

After the game, Mavs superstar Luka Doncic was asked whether or not he was aware he had equaled the entire Suns team heading to the locker room. His response was pretty savage.

Hilariously, Doncic responded, “uh, yeah, of course.” He could not help but laugh while responding.

Dallas was clearly the better team in this series. After the first two games, both dominated by Phoenix, you could argue the Mavs were the better team in the last five games. A rivalry between Doncic and Suns shooting guard Devin Booker seemed to brew in front of everyone's eyes.

But just in case anyone was wondering who the best player in this series was, they found out Sunday night. Doncic finished with 35 points and 10 rebounds, becoming the second-youngest player to ever accomplish that in a Game 7. Only Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn was younger at 22 years and 230 days.

The Mavs will now move on to face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals. More than likely, almost no one will give them a shot, just like they didn't in the series against the Suns. But Dallas is not likely to listen to any of that noise. They'll be ready to play Wednesday for Game 1.
