Dallas Mavs prized rookie Luka Doncic has been a wonder to watch early this season. Doncic' stats from his first 10 games have been so remarkable that it follows Oscar Robertson's footsteps.

Bobby Karalla of mavs.com tweeted out this interesting observation on Doncic' all-around numbers at the start of his rookie season.

Per Mavs PR, Luka Doncic has totaled 198 points, 65 rebounds and 44 assists through his first 10 career games. The only other player in NBA history to reach those numbers through 10 games is Oscar Robertson.

Despite some limitation in terms of his athleticism, Doncic' court smarts and savvy have catapulted him to be the Mavs' most important player this year. The 19-year old Serbian point guard is posting impressive averages of 19.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and a 38% clip from beyond the arc.

Doncic has also hit double-digit scoring in all his games so far, eclipsing the 30-point mark once in a game against the defense-oriented San Antonio Spurs. The 6-foot-7 Mavs playmaker recently dropped a stat line of 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists during the team's victory over the Washington Wizards.

Wizards' head coach Scott Brooks took full notice of Doncic' skill set and potential, per Fred Katz of The Athletic.

Doncic is also leading the pack in NBA.com's Rookie Ladder, with Phoenix Suns' 1st overall pick DeAndre Ayton ranking second and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks rounding out the Top 3.

Still, there's plenty of room for improvement for Doncic and the Mavericks. The Mavs are currently sitting on a 3-7 record as they focus their sights on their road game against the Utah Jazz tonight.
