The NBA has released its playoff ticket guidelines and Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic took it as an opportunity to savagely troll veteran guard JJ Barea.

The guidelines include a height requirement pertaining to a child. Doncic, who's been making fun of Barea's relatively short 5-foot-10 frame, decided to give the Puerto Rican some light ribbing.

To recall, Luka Doncic made fun of Barea several months ago via an Instagram post, by calling him his โ€œlittle brother.โ€

But of course, Mavs fans know that the two are just having some good old fun. Below is another clip of the two having some fun in the sideline.

But on a more serious note, Barea โ€” though hasn't seen much playing time this season due to injuries โ€” may be the most important player in the squad and to Doncic as well. As for one, he's the only remaining player from the 2011 team that won the title. And the fact that he literally worked his butt off to enter the league is something imperative to Doncic's development.

โ€œJ.J. is our last vestigeโ€ from 2011, Carlisle said, per Eric Gomez of ESPN in December 2019. โ€œThat's very important [for Doncic]. In the locker room, our guys know that J.J. has that level of experience. They know that he was once a player who was undrafted and had to work his way into a situation where he could get playing time and eventually he became a starter on an NBA championship team, and that's pretty phenomenal.โ€

Indeed, behind the waves of laughter and jokes is a serious brotherly relationship between Doncic and Barea.
