The Dallas Mavericks are in a bit of trouble after falling down 3-2 in their series against the Phoenix Suns. The Mavs suffered a brutal 30-point loss to Phoenix in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

As they usually are in the NBA Playoffs, tensions were high in Phoenix, specifically between Luka Doncic and Devin Booker. After the loss, Doncic addressed the tension surrounding Game 5, as well as his goals for the Mavericks.

Suns journalist Duane Rankin tweeted a clip of the guard's interview from Thursday afternoon ahead of Game 6:

A media member asked Doncic about Booker's “Luka Special,” which he performed after drawing a foul from Dorian Finney-Smith. The Mavs star said that he saw the video of Booker's dramatic representation of himself, but he “doesn't really care.”

Despite being the most valuable player on his team, Doncic was not awarded the league title. He placed fifth, while Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets secured the award for the second year in a row. Doncic assured the media that he isn't worried about that, as his goal is to “win a championship” with the Mavs.

And, finally, Doncic expanded on his comments after Game 5 about how “everybody acts tough when they're up.” He acknowledged that players will gladly talk trash when they're ahead and that's just part of the game.

To put it briefly, Doncic isn't worried about what other people have to say. He is steadfast on winning it all. Luka and the Mavs will attempt to force Game 7 with a Game 6 win at home Thursday night.
