In the Dallas Mavericks' Game 4 win against the Phoenix Suns, the legend of playoff Luka Doncic continued. He led the Mavs to a huge win to even up the second-round series. After his first series win in the NBA playoffs, Doncic is continuing to dominate. In Game 4, he had 26 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and three steals.

Doncic has been nothing short of fantastic in the playoffs throughout his brief career with the Mavs. With the exception of the unreal scoring machine Wilt Chamberlain and the legendary playoff performer Michael Jordan, no other play has scored as many points as the Mavs' young superstar has through his first 20 postseason contests.

At the moment, Doncic is averaging numbers that no one ever has in the NBA playoffs. The Mavs star is nearly averaging a 30-point triple-double. After first establishing himself as a star in the playoffs with an overtime buzzer-beater in 2020, he has done nothing but add to his postseason resumé.

The Mavs have made the playoffs in each of the last three years thanks to Doncic's unreal offensive game. As Suns head coach Monty Williams knows firsthand, slowing him down is next to impossible.

Being so good in the playoffs is a big step in any player's road to superstardom. Doncic already has this down pat at age 23. This is great news for the Mavs as they look to become a title contender.
