The Dallas Mavericks have a sensational start to their season, as they cruised to a superb win against the Zion Williamson-less New Orleans Pelicans. Luka Doncic was all over the ball to lead the Mavs on all fronts.

The game was a close one at the tail-end of the match, but Luka managed to sink the dagger that put the game out of reach for the Pelicans.

It was a beautiful stepback that has become a signature move for the 2019 Rookie of the Year. It was the cherry on top of a night that saw him finish with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in 38 minutes of basketball.

Kristaps Porzingis is also showing Mavs fans that he's slowly coming back to his top form. He finished with 24 points, four rebounds and three assists. Delon Wright and Jalen Brunson also helped in getting the Mavs over the Pelicans.

Dallas fans have every right to be excited about the season if their dynamic duo keeps these performances up for the rest of the season.
