The Air Jordan XVIII was the last player exclusive pair that Michael Jordan wore in an NBA game. And according to SLAM, it already has a retro version released just this Monday, with the same colorway Jordan wore on that fateful night.

It will feature its OG theme of White/Metallic Silver and Sports Royal. The shoe is completed with a double-layer of Nike Zoom Air and a Comfort Control Plate. It will go along with a price tag of $225.

It can be remembered that the same shoe design has been worn by Jordan in the Washington Wizards-Philadelphia 76ers game on April 16, 2003, where Jordan and the Wizards lost. Nevertheless, Jordan received a three-minute standing ovation from his teammates, opponents, officials, and the crowd of over 21,000-strong fans.

The crowd has even chanting “We want Mike!” when the game was running low on time and Jordan was sitting on the bench.

Jordan completed his illustrious career with six championships, all with the Chicago Bulls. The championships are divided into two three-peats. The first one spanned from 1991 to 1993, while the second one from 1996 to 1998. Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game in his career.

Because of Jordan's popularity, he produced a line of athletic apparel with Nike known as the Jordan Brand. He is widely believed as the greatest basketball player in history, but outside of his on-court exploits, his figure has become so prominent that Jordan still reigns supreme in the business world today.

His Air Jordan line of sneakers remain as one of the most popular among sneakerheads, Jordan Brand is thriving, and being an owner of the Charlotte Hornets all speak highly of hia business acumen.
