The NBA's GOAT and Bulls legend Michael Jordan is so phenomenal during his playing days that fans can't help but marvel at his every move. Even media men, who are supposed to keep it neutral during games, are not spared from being in awe of Jordan.

ESPN commentator Michael Wilbon shared an interesting story on Tuesday, as he recalled his initial reaction upon seeing Jordan attempt a dunk before deciding to switch hands mid-air for a breathtaking lay-up.

Check out the magnificent display of balance and athleticism, which occurred in Game 2 of the 1991 NBA Finals between the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Wilbon, he resorted to biting his colleague David Aldridge just so he could stop himself from yelling from press row. Shortly after the game, Aldrige took off his suit jacket and had bite marks on his shoulder.

Wilbon reminisced about his times covering “His Airness” as part of ESPN's I Love 90s Basketball series, which is mainly inspired by the ongoing documentary The Last Dance. Both Wilbon and Aldridge also appear on the 10-part docu-series.

Wilbon's biting incident is just one of many stories from fans who had a chance to see Jordan and the Bulls up close during their magnificent run in the 90s.

More interesting factoids will surely come out in the coming weeks in the documentary's six remaining episodes.

The recently-aired Episodes 3 and 4, meanwhile, were received with great praise by audiences around the world.  It dug deep to the Bulls' enigmatic forward Dennis Rodman, as well as the time they finally took down bitter rivals Detroit Pistons.
