Nate Diaz is at the end of his UFC contract and finds himself in an interesting spot with Dana White. The former lightweight title challenger was hoping to fight either Vicente Luque or Tony Ferguson.

Dana White has other plans for Nate Diaz as he has his eyes set on a bout with Khamzat Chimaev. The fight raised a lot of eyebrows all over social media as it doesn't seem to make sense for both men.

Diaz posted a meme on his Instagram story responding to the UFC President's interview with TMZ. His reply was the famous meme of Russell Westbrook responding to reporters telling them they were ‘trippin.'

With Nate Diaz unsure of his UFC future, many expect him to get a very tough fight for his last bout. It appears that could be the case with Dana White showing interest in a fight with Khamzat Chimaev.

The fight would be a difficult one stylistically for Nate Diaz as he tends to struggle with wrestlers when he moves up to 170. He struggled in his first attempt at the weight class when he faced names like Rory MacDonald.

Khmazat Chimaev is a big fighter for the weight class. He competed at 185 in his first UFC fight before switching between welterweight and middleweight.

His last fight was a wrestling clinic against Li Jingliang that saw him get the submission in a quick fashion. This may not be the case with Nate Diaz as he has excellent jiu-jitsu.

Let's see what will come of Nate Diaz's last UFC fight.
