Bogdan Bogdanovic initially appeared to be headed to the Milwaukee Bucks via trade, but after the sign-and-trade fiasco, he could end up with another NBA team in the Eastern Conference.

According to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, Bogdanovic is expected to sign an offer sheet with the Atlanta Hawks.

When the NBA allowed teams to begin trading, the Bucks were one of the most active teams in the league. They even manufactured a move to acquire Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans, giving them a remarkable two-way player.

Aside from the move for Holiday, Milwaukee believed they had a deal in place to land Bogdanovic from the Sacramento Kings. However, on the day of the 2020 NBA Draft, it was reported that the trade fell through due to Bogdanovic not giving the go-ahead to be traded to the Bucks.

Therefore, instead of joining Milwaukee and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bogdanovic will become a restricted free agent. That means he can sign an offer sheet with a team, but the Kings have a chance to match the offer given to him.

The Hawks are a team that is looking to add veteran talent this offseason given the young nature of their roster. While the young pieces in Trae Young, John Collins, Kevin Huerter, Cam Reddish, and De'Andre Hunter have shown promise, they need experienced NBA players to round out their roster.

Bogdan Bogdanovic would give Atlanta another 3-point shooting wing that could be a valuable asset. On the other hand, it would give the veteran shooting guard a chance to shine alongside Young in the backcourt.
