The call-up for the 2018-20 USA Men’s National Team pool has been announced and while the list includes many household names, it's lacking the team's all-time leading scorer, Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony had been an All-Star player for eight consecutive seasons (2010-17), but has taken a steep decline in his first season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, seemingly still a shadow of his former self.

The 33-year-old is posting the lowest all-around averages of his entire career, having put up 20-plus points during his first 14 seasons in the league — making him one of the perennial scorers in league history.

Anthony holds the Team USA Basketball all-time points record in international competition with 336 scored over four Olympic stints (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016). He's a three-time Olympic gold medalist and received a bronze medal in Athens 2004.

Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors closely trails Melo with 311 points of his own, likely to eclipse the mark in the next Olympic year in 2020.
