Kristaps Porzingis and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 19.

Porzingis averaged 26.3 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game as the Dallas Mavericks went 3-1. Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, put up  28.5 points, 16.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks went 4-0:

Antetokounmpo could very well win his second straight NBA MVP award this season. He’s averaging 29.9 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists on the season in 54 games while shooting 55.4 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Just like last season, the Bucks have the best record in the NBA. Milwaukee is 52-8 and has already clinched a playoff spot. Now that Kawhi Leonard is in the Western Conference playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, most pundits believe Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will easily win the East this time around, although the Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers may have something to say about that once the playoffs start.

In his first season with the Mavs, Porzingis is developing into a great Robin to Luka Doncic's Batman. The 24-year-old has appeared in 47 games this 2019-20 NBA season for Dallas after missing all of last season with a torn ACL. He's averaging 19.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 42.4 percent from the field, 35.8 percent from beyond the arc and 77.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Mavs are 37-24 on the season. They are in seventh place in the Western Conference standings. Porzingis and Doncic have never played in the playoffs before, but they're in prime position to make the postseason debuts. Dallas has a 7.5-game lead over the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, plus a 10.5-game lead over the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs.

While it will be tough for the Mavs to win an NBA playoff series this season, they should be a feisty bunch thanks to their star duo and historically great offense.
