We finally may have some clarity from what was a truly controversial finish to Saturday night's NBA All-Star Dunk Contest. This comes courtesy of a rather definitive all-out investigation carried out by renowned NBA Twitter personality “Sherwod Holmes” aka @WorldWideWob.

In the five-minute video below, the investigation focuses on how Wob thinks that Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was the man behind all this. Following the dunk contest, fellow judge Common said in an interview that one of the judges broke the pact, and this report claims that this was none other than Wade himself.

Those are some pretty big accusations right there, but in all honesty, his evidence is indeed quite convincing. The fact that Wade acted like a guilty man — in both the final moments of the sore reveal and in his post-event interview — was probably what most gave him away. It was not shown in the clip above, but Wade even attempted to played down the gravity of the situation by saying that Aaron Gordon was “not going to lose any sleep” after losing the NBA Dunk Contest. That's easy for him to say.

At the end of the day, though, we have to keep in mind that Wade was just doing what he was supposed to do in the first place — judging. It's highly unlikely that Common was making up the bit about the judges agreeing beforehand that this was going to be a tie, but the fact of the matter is, Wade had every right to score Gordon's final dunk as he deemed worthy. Now whether or not he deceived his fellow judges is an altogether different matter.
