The Toronto Raptors pay a visit to Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in an exciting Eastern Conference matchup. With that said, it’s a good time to check out our NBA odds series, which includes our Raptors-Bucks prediction and pick we have laid out below.

The Raptors have lost two games in a row after going on a 6-game winning streak. They put up a valiant effort against the Phoenix Suns, the team with the best record in the NBA, on Tuesday. However, they fell flat and had a disappointing 103-87 loss to the lowly Detroit Pistons on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are coming off an emphatic drubbing of the Golden State Warriors on Friday. Reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a clinic with a triple-double performance as the defending NBA champions took the 118-99 wire-to-wire win in Milwaukee.

Here is how FanDuel has set the Raptors-Bucks NBA odds for this Saturday night NBA matchup.

NBA odds: Raptors-Bucks Odds

Raptors: +7.5 (-112)

Bucks: -7.5 (-108)

Why the Raptors could cover the spread

The Raptors have had the upper hand over the Bucks in their season series so far. But they will enter Saturday night as clear underdogs simply because Giannis Antetokounmpo is in the lineup for Milwaukee. The Bucks didn't have the 2-time MVP in both of Toronto and Milwaukee's meetings this season. As such, the Raptors took advantage of Antetokounmpo's absence.

Toronto is also coming off a deflating loss that they really should have won in the first place. Raptors Nation has been feeling good about their squad over these last couple of weeks. However, this recent defeat against Detroit pumped the breaks on the momentum of a 6-game winning streak that ended with a competitive showing in a 4-point loss to the Suns.

The Raptors have yet to issue their injury report. Nonetheless, Khem Birch broke his nose in Friday's game versus Detroit and will undergo surgery. He already made his way back to Toronto. Meanwhile, Gary Trent Jr. also missed Friday's outing and could be in jeopardy of sitting out his fourth straight game due to an ankle injury.

Toronto is an even 8-8 on the road and 20-19 overall this season. Against the spread, they are 20-18.

Why the Bucks could cover the spread

Despite still not winning a game over Toronto this season, Milwaukee should be the clear favorite for this game. As mentioned, Giannis Antetokounmpo will finally see the Raptors for the first time in 2021-22. His return could help the Bucks break a 4-game losing streak to the Raptors dating back to last season.

Injury-wise, the Bucks are still without Jrue Holiday, who has been out the past four outings due to an ankle injury. Brook Lopez is obviously still not in the lineup as he continues to recover from back surgery. Nonetheless, the Bucks don't seem to be missing a beat as evidenced by their dominant win over the Warriors.

Milwaukee is 14-7 at Fiserv Forum this season. However, they are also just 20-24 against the spread in 2021-22.

Final Raptors-Bucks prediction and pick

The Bucks seem to be the safe bet here. Antetokounmpo will finally get to flex his muscles against the Raptors after missing their first two games against them this season. Coming off a statement win, the Bucks should enter with more confidence. Toronto, on the other hand, is coming off a letdown defeat and this could carry over against the reigning champs. Nonetheless, Milwaukee's record against the spread could be something to consider when making this bet.

Final Raptors-Bucks Prediction & Pick: Bucks: -7.5 (-108)
