One of the most sought-after trade targets ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline is Detroit Pistons winger Jerami Grant. NBA trade rumors have linked the sharpshooting forward to a plethora of suitors who are interested in bringing him aboard prior to the Feb. 10 deadline. Still, there are some important factors to consider in any trade involving the 27-year-old. According to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer, the Pistons are seeking a similar haul to what Aaron Gordon fetched the Orlando Magic in the 2021 trade with the Denver Nuggets.

As Fischer denotes, the Pistons are seeking two first-round picks, or a first-round pick and a talented young player in order to part ways with Grant. Grant still has one year remaining on his current contract, so any team looking to acquire him will need assurances that he plans to stick around for the long haul. Grant is likely looking at a four-year, $112 million contract when he hits free agency, per Fischer. In addition to a long-term deal, Grant wants to be guaranteed that he'll be one of the premier offensive options on his new team, not looking to settle in as a lesser priority in a team's offensive game plan.

Various teams have been linked with Grant in NBA trade rumors, including the Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Washington Wizards, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Sacramento Kings.

On the year, Grant is averaging 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He's shooting at a 33.1% clip from 3-point territory, knocking down 1.8 3's per game on 5.3 attempts. Grant is in his second season with the Pistons, though in all likelihood his tenure with the franchise is set to conclude within the coming weeks
