Kevin Durant is working his way back from a knee injury, and by the looks of it, he'll be returning to action for the Brooklyn Nets soon.

In his recent appearance on ESPN's NBA Countdown, insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that Durant's return is imminent, possibly between Monday to Thursday when they play the Toronto Raptors twice before taking on the Miami Heat.

Woj noted that it will all depend on how Durant is feeling, though he has really progressed in his recovery and looked great during the team's practices.

Meanwhile, after Saturday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Nets head coach Steve Nash revealed that he doesn't expect to see Kevin Durant play against the Raptors on Monday and Tuesday, which means the biggest possibility is for KD to suit up Thursday against the Heat.

The Nets have shown signs of life since trading away James Harden in exchange for Ben Simmons and a slew of players and picks. While Simmons has yet to play for the team, their other acquisitions in Seth Curry and Andre Drummond have been playing really for them.

The Nets improved to 32-29 on the season with their latest win, but they remain eighth in the East behind the Raptors (32-27) and Boston Celtics (36-26). With that said, they could really use Kevin Durant's help in a bid to turn the season around ands still fight for the automatic playoff qualifications spot.

It's also good news that Simmons could very well follow Durant after he returns, teasing that Brooklyn can be in 100% health in the next couple of weeks.
